Architecture ▪ Design ▪ Alliance was formed in 1990 when designer Philip deVries and his firm, deVries Design, expanded through the partnership of architect Kevin McQueen. Leveraging their combined backgrounds in multifaceted design and construction technology, they created a design company equipped to provide a boutique service in the areas of residential and commercial architecture, product design, and corporate identity or branding.
Architecture ▪ Design ▪ Alliance takes pride in not only generating repeat business from clients all across the spectrum of corporations, municipalities, developers, and individuals—but in earning a reputation, in doing so, for the ability to create enduring designs, expedite projects with maximal efficiency, attract top-tier industry talent, and approach design in a manner that’s fully-integrated and all-encompassing in terms of each client’s needs, goals, and budget.
Accordingly, our designs are more than two-dimensional sketches—but working models that take into account the smallest and most critical facets of feasibility studies, site and space planning, construction documentation, code compliance, renderings, and interior architecture.
In short, we plan beforehand to avoid having to amend plans later at the expense of order, design, or timeliness. And to accomplish this, we rely upon our more than eighty years of problem-solving experience at the top of our industry.
In the tradition of the late father of industrial design, Raymond Loewy, we’ve put together a fully integrated design company that encompasses every aspect of the process . . . with specialists overseeing each division in unison.
While Architecture ▪ Design ▪ Alliance remains active in its collaborations with a number of experts from adjoining industries, the largest and most successful of these endeavors involves the creation of its sister company, design-and-build firm McQueenVerdi ▪ Group, LLC
Complementary but separate, McQueenVerdi ▪ Group, LLC was founded in 2010 by Kevin McQueen and Curt Verdi of Verdi Construction in order to respond to client demand for a single entity able to take a project from design all the way through completion of construction.
Resultantly, the partnership has given A▪D▪A an even greater ability to hone its craft by remaining distinctly tied to the day-to-day happenings of practical construction related matters.
